The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the goods and services you selected.
|Basic Services of the Funeral Director and Staff||$2,900.00|
|Our fee for the services of funeral director and staff includes, but is not limited to, staff to respond to initial request for service, arrangement conference with family or responsible party, preparation and filing of necessary authorizations and permits, recording vital statistics, preparation and placement of obituary notices, planning of funeral arrangements and coordination of service with those providing other portions of the funeral, e.g. cemetery, crematory and others as required. Also included in this charge are overhead expenses relative to our facility such as insurance, maintenance and utility expenses, secretarial and administrative costs, and equipment and inventory expenses.|
This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.) This fee is also included in our traditional packages and our cremation packages.
|Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial or when refrigeration or use of dry ice is available.|

|This charge includes a proportionate share of basic services of funeral provider and staff for phone/online arrangements* transfer of remains to funeral establishment within a 30 mile radius, care of remains, refrigeration for up to 72 hours, minimum cardboard alternative container, local transportation to the crematory, crematory charges and temporary cremated remains container. This fee does not include embalming, other preparation of the body, visitation or funeral ceremonies, or other goods such as a cremation urn. |
Minnesota law does not require you to purchase a casket for cremation. If you want to arrange a cremation, you can use a cremation container. A cremation container is a combustible, closed container that encases the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or corrugated cardboard and into which a dead human body is placed prior to insertion into a cremation chamber for cremation. The containers we provide are made of compressed wood and corrugated cardboard.
* This fee does not include the preparation and placement of obituary notices, placement of an obituary notice on funeral home website, assistance placing an obituary notice in newspapers, planning of memorial service or graveside services or the coordination of the service with those providing other portions of the service, e.g., cemetery or church.

|Our charge for an immediate burial, without any services, ceremonies or reviewal, includes basic professional services of staff, removal and shelter of remains, cloth covered wood casket, local transportation to the cemetery, necessary authorizations and basic services of staff. These prices do not include any cemetery expenses or the cost of an outer burial container, which may be required.|
|Forwarding of Remains to another Funeral Home||$2,195.00|
|This charge includes our basic professional services of staff, removal and shelter of remains, embalming, filing the death certificate and issuing permits, transportation to airport or railroad depot, and receptacle for shipping. This fee does not include any services of the staff for funeral services or viewing prior to forwarding the body.|

Additional Facilities, Related Staff Charges and Automotive Services
|Evening/Sunday Funeral or Memorial Service||$600.00|

|Use of a visitation room for 2 hours, seating for up to 60 people, serving tables and linens. A licensed caterer and server are required.|
