Allen "Al" Keith Heddle

Allen “Al” Keith Heddle passed away on July 6, 2022, at age 85.  His family lovingly say “See you later, alligator,” and hear “After a while, crocodile” from Pa in their hearts.  He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Kathryn "Kay" and four children: Tracey (Jimmy), Scott (Tay), Amie (Eric), and Kristena (Ed).  He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Erin, Brett (Barbara), Jenna, Grace, Chance, Val, Nyx, and Hayden, and two great-grandchildren, Adan and Audrie. Al was preceded in death by his parents, Allen W. and Renie Keith, and grandparents George C. Keith and H. Doris, James Low Heddle and Elizabeth Warren.

Al was born in Minneapolis and raised his family in Richfield.  His favorite job was telegram delivery with Western Union, favorite sports’ team the Minnesota Twins preferably playing at the Met Stadium, his favorite game was cribbage, his favorite drink coffee, favorite place the Doyles’ farm and his favorite event the Minnesota State Fair.

Visitation Tuesday, July 12, at 8:30AM at Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Ave S, Minneapolis.  Service to start at 9:00AM with interment immediately following.
