He was preceded in death by parents, Peter and Josephine Zirbes; brothers, Jerome, Elmer and Gerald Zirbes; son-in-law, Frank Witcoski; grandson, Jonathan Witcoski.
Al is survived by wife of 61 years, Florence; children, Deborah Witcoski, Bruce (Michelle), Ronald (Hanh) and Mark; grandchildren, AJ Witcoski and Zach, Andrew, Kim, Karen, Cameron and Maggie Zirbes; brother, Norman (Mary); sisters, Lorraine (Norman) Johnson and Mary Anne (Dale) Parkhurst; many other family and friends.
An Air Force veteran, Al retired from Northern States Power Company after 38 years.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
