Amy Svendsen Doyle

Amy Svendsen Doyle, age 39, of Minneapolis, passed away on June 19, 2023. Amy was born April 27, 1984 in Minneapolis, MN.

Amy was a voracious reader, passionate about politics and women’s rights and a thoughtful daughter, sister and aunt.

She graduated from Wayzata High School and the U of MN Twin Cities with B.A. degrees in English and Cultural Studies & Comparative Literature. She became a Paralegal and worked at HSML and then Merchant & Gould, where she enjoyed her work in Intellectual Property.

She loved spending time with family, especially her nieces and nephews. She studied Japanese and had a lifelong interest in the culture and art. We will miss her kind and gentle demeanor, bright smile and truly happy laugh.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Linda (Svendsen) Doyle. Survived by father Tim (Gail) Doyle; siblings Michael (Miglena) Doyle and Molly (John) Sikora; nieces and nephews Sarah, Luke and Isaac Sikora and Diana Doyle; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

A private interment was held on June 30 at Lakewood Cemetery and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
