Angelique Umufasha

Angelique Umufasha was born to Mukandamutsa Prudentienne and Mutabazi Jean Baptist on September 2, 1990 in Masisi, Democratic Republic of Congo. She arrived in the United States in 2023. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kubana Aimable; and her parents. Angelique was known for being kind and generous. She was grateful for all of those who she encountered, especially during her long illness. She repeatedly shared how blessed she felt for the care she received from the medical community in Minnesota. Angelique had a strong faith and believed deeply in Christ and his love. Angelique is survived by her loving children, Paola Kubana and Loic Kubana, her cousin Brigitte Umutoni and her uncle Mutabazi Mutabaruka Africain. She is also survived by a loving circle of friends in Minnesota, many of whom became like family to her. She will be dearly missed by all of those who knew her. She will be remembered and loved until we meet again. Rest in peace Angelique.

Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 28th at The Church of Our Lady of Peace, 5426 12th Avenue South, Minneapolis 55417. Visitation 1/2 hour prior to the Mass at the church. Interment at Mound Cemetery in Brooklyn Center.
