Annette Mingo

Annette (Ann) Mingo, age 74, of Crystal, passed away on August 1, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Born on May 18, 1951, in Minneapolis, Ann was the daughter of the late Duane and Rita Hofmeister. She spent her formative years in Dayton and received her education in St. Michael, where she met her lifelong partner, Russ. The couple married on October 3, 1970, and enjoyed many happy years together. Both were actively involved in Marriage Encounter, church festivals, and their local school community.

Ann was known for her generosity, warmth and welcoming nature. She served as a beloved lunch attendant at St. Raphael's Catholic School during her children's attendance and continued her involvement most recently as a volunteer. Ann cherished time spent with family and friends, valued her church community, and enjoyed traveling, crafting, hosting gatherings, and relaxing on her patio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings Jerry, Patricia, Richard, Gretchen, and Mary Louise.

She is survived by her husband, Russ Mingo; children Chris (Michelle), Nichol (Michael), Kaureen (Roberto), and Tricia (Spencer); grandchildren Katie, Kassie, Roberto, Morgan, Makaela (Scott), Brandon, Dominic (Faith), Anthony, Ella, Gracie, Alex, and Mateo; siblings, Dennis (Kathy), Rose (Sven), Jim, and Mark.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 10:00 am with visitation beginning at 9:00 am at the Church of St. Raphael's, 7301 Bass Lake Road, Crystal.
