Anthony M. “Tony” Gilbertson, age 32 of Coon Rapids, passed away November 17
th
after a courageous battle with addiction.
Survived by parents Bruce and Ruth Gilbertson; sisters Becca (Mike) Phillips and Katie (Erick) Bloom; brother Kevin Gilbertson; nephew and godson Conner Wheeler, niece Kayla Wheeler, nephew Ethan Bloom, niece and goddaughter Ella Bloom, nephews Lucas and Lincoln Phillips; grandmother Lanie Van Sloun; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceded in death by grandparents Arland and Charlotte Gilbertson & Arthur Van Sloun; aunt Charlene Borotz.
Tony was a gentle soul who loved being an uncle. He loved all sports and was a talented artist. His missionary trip to Haiti had a profound effect on his life.
Private interment at Epiphany Cemetery, Coon Rapids.
Memorials preferred to Helping Haiti or the Christmas Basket Program at St. Stephen Church, Anoka.
