Barbara J. (Olker) Barrett
Barbara was a devoted RN, training from Abbott Hospital and graduating with the class of 1949. She was an active member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Mound and also a member of the Gillespie Center, being active in the Art Group.
Preceded in death by husband, Charles J. Barrett, Jr. and son-in-law, Herb Ackerman.
She is survived by children, Melinda Ackerman, Charles “Jim” (Kelly) III, Tom (Carol), David (Suz), Marybeth (Gary) Dreier and Jean Carlson (Curt); 15 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; loving sister, Bev Bartz; nieces and nephews.
Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 2385 Commerce Blvd, Mound, MN 55364.
Visitation one hour prior to Mass.
