Ben was a member of the Plymouth Historical Society, Mount Olivet Lutheran Church of Plymouth, the Square and Twirl Square-Dancing Club, along with various other square-dancing clubs. Square and Twirl was a singles club where he met his wife Ruth. He enjoyed playing card games, especially Skipbo, and building and designing projects at his home in Plymouth, Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, and throughout the community as well. He was always ready to help others and was very welcoming of others as well. Ben was an avid storyteller and loved learning the history of his family, the city of Plymouth, and Mount Olivet Lutheran Church.

Preceded in death by his father Hugo G. Broman and mother Clara (Hedlund) Broman. Brothers Roy Broman, Bruce Broman and Floyd Broman. Sisters Lucille Broman, Marcene Olson, Sylvia Severson and Rita Kelly. Children, Ben Broman Jr, Eric Broman, Joel Broman. Grandson William Thomas. Survived by his wife Ruth A. Broman, and children Kyle Broman, Jeanne (Marcus) Rehnberg, Neil (Riane Jirak) Broman, Laura (Steven Thomas) Broman. Grandchildren Sarafina Rehnberg, Malachi Thomas, Lucas Rehnberg, Spencer Thomas, Levi Thomas, Georgie Thomas, Miles Thomas. Brother David Broman. Many Nieces, Nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Funeral Service 11 AM Thursday, June 11th, at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, 12235 Old Rockford Road, Plymouth 55441. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Luncheon to follow the service. 2 PM Graveside Service at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
