Survived by son, Walter Jr. (Jackie); daughter, Artie Lee Kowalski; sons, Charles (Jaci) and Kevin (Julie); grandchildren, Christine Adams, Kevin (Heather) Kowalski; great-grandchildren, Julia & Katelyn Adams, Jackson & Hailey Kowalski.
Private interment Ft. Snelling.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred for donations to feed the hungry.
