Bruce Richard Tiffany

Bruce Tiffany, 74, passed away September 12, 2023 after a brave battle with cancer. He had a successful career as a Court Reporter for the U.S. District Court for Minnesota and was particularly proud to have worked for Judge Edward Devitt, whom he deeply respected. Bruce was tender hearted, humble and honorable. His family is proud of the heroic courage he showed throughout life-long health issues. His big heart always had compassion for others, including his various four-legged companions over the years.

Bruce was born June 6, 1949 and is predeceased by parents, William and Margaret Tiffany as well as brother, Father Eugene Tiffany. He will always hold a place in the hearts of siblings and extended family, Estelle Gunkel, Craig (Lori) Tiffany, Gail (Rick) Swanson, Kevin Tiffany, and Colleen (Todd) Sarenpa; 10 nieces/nephews: Michael (Maureen) Tiffany, Caryn Gunkel, Jill (Jim) Russel, Kristin (Paul) Johnson, Matthew (Denise) Tiffany, Ryan (Shannon) Tiffany, Adam (Dani) Tiffany, Paul (Jocelle) Sarenpa, Katelyn (Josh) Santos, and Elizabeth Tiffany (Decature); 7 Great nieces/nephews: Keith, Blake, Julian, Carter, Melina, Kova and Evan. To the many “angels” who cared for Bruce over the past year, you are greatly appreciated.

On Friday, September 22, 2023, there will be a visitation at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., both at Basilica of St. Mary, located at 16th and Hennepin Ave South. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights. In lieu of flowers, Bruce would be honored by an act of kindness for someone or a donation in his name to an animal welfare organization of your choice.
