Bruce Russell Ullom
July 16, 1957 - June 16, 2026
Bruce Russell Ullom, age 68, of Dayton, Minnesota, passed away on June 16, 2026. He is survived by his wife Sherri and his daughter Alissa, along with many other family members who loved him dearly.
Bruce was born and raised in Minneapolis and graduated from Patrick Henry High School. He was a very proud Eagle Scout, as were his three brothers, Jeff, Paul, and Gary. Bruce was raised by his mother, Jean, and Norman Ullom. He was very close to his mother and to his parents-in-laws Elaine and Russell Marchand, who all preceded him in death.
Bruce worked as a cabinetmaker and painter for more than 30 years. Throughout his career, he completed many large projects, including work for Regis salons, Foshay Towers, and the newer Twins stadium bar. After retirement, he spent every summer working at a greenhouse with his childhood best friend John.
Bruce looked forward to summertime every year. He loved spending time outdoors by his pool and koi pond, enjoying time with his wife, daughter, close family friend Judy, and his beloved dogs, Diva, Lucy, and Lilly.
Bruce loved the Minnesota State Fair, a tradition he looked forward to attending every year. He also enjoyed visiting flea markets and farmers markets, watching football, and following NASCAR, his favorite sport. He took pride in tending to the large flower garden at his home.
Bruce was a loving, caring, and generous man who meant so much to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
