Carol Ann Jordan, age 91, of Plymouth, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026.
Born in 1935 to James and Loretta (Richter) Adams, Carol was the youngest of 5 children. Encouraged by her mother to pursue a nursing career, she completed her training before answering the call of a nursing shortage in Montana. She returned home to Minnesota a few years later where she met Leo Jordan. The two were married in 1966 and settled in Plymouth to begin building a loving family.
Carol had a kind heart, strong will and warm sense of humor. She expressed her love for family and friends through cooking, and gifts like her homemade jelly, and hand sewn blankets.
As a dedicated volunteer; she worked alongside her close friends, organizing funeral luncheons, the annual church rummage sale, and handcrafting blankets for charities.
She enjoyed card games, puzzles, sharing stories and was always up for a good cold beer and onion rings with loved ones.
Among her many memories, Carol cherished the trip of a lifetime she took in 1993 to Jerusalem with Leo, her sister Mae (affectionately known as "Sis"), and Mae's husband, Floyd.
She is survived by her children: Phil (Leslie) Jordan, Ted (Amelia) Jordan, Mary Jordan, and Maggie (Scott) McCarthy. She was a proud grandmother to Chaz, Chloe, Taylor, Alex, Alivia, and Jordan (McCarthy).
Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leo; her infant son, Michael; her parents, James and Loretta Adams; her brothers, Bill, Gene, and Jim Adams; and her sister, Mae Clem.
Family wants to extend gratitude to those who cared for her at Methodist Hospital and Good Samaritan Ambassador in New Hope.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 11, 2026, at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, located at 155 County Road 24, Medina, MN. Visitation will take place at the church one hour prior to the Mass, starting at 10:00 AM.
Interment will follow at the Holy Name of Jesus Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Carol's honor are preferred to Saint Jude's Children's Hospital.
