Kenison, Carol D.

age 92, of Orono, formerly of Plymouth/Crystal/Robbinsdale and the Phillips neighborhood of Minneapolis, passed away April 9, 2026. Preceded in death by loving husband Richard, parents, Sidney and Frances, brothers, Curtis and Roger, and sister, Jean, and dear friend Judy Nordgaard.

Carol graduated from Robbinsdale High School, she attended Minneapolis South High School until her senior year and has many fond memories of the school and neighborhood. She went on to work in banking and later at Post Publishing while raising a family in Crystal.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Survived by loving children; daughter, Diane (Kevin)Moody; sons, Doug (Judy O’Neill) Kenison and David (Barb) Kenison; beloved grandchildren; Elizabeth Kenison, Karen Kenison, Ryan Moody, John Kenison, and Thomas Kenison; nieces and nephews and friends.

A special thanks to the staff at Valora of Orono and LifeSpark Hospice for their excellent care of Carol.

A Celebration of Life for Carol is scheduled at St. Philip the Deacon, 17205 County Rd 6, Plymouth, on Monday, April 13 at 6:30pm with visitation one hour before service and cake and coffee to follow. The service will be livestreamed, Please use the link below
