Charles (Chuck) Lynch of Minnetonka, MN, was born into eternal life on Sept. 2, 2026 at the Mpls. Veterans Home.

Born Sept. 5, 1939 in Sioux Falls, SD to Gerald and Lillian Lynch. He was the middle child of 11 siblings.

He was married to the love of his life, Jackie, for 63 years who he met on a blind date. Chuck spent over 40 years traveling the country on his motorcycle to visit extended family - always keeping his loved ones close despite the miles. When he wasn't on the open road, he found joy sailing on the water.

He was a deeply devout Irish Catholic and veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was known for his steady wisdom, guidance, and his signature parting words, "Keep the faith."

Preceded in death by his parents and 8 siblings.

Survived by wife Jackie, daughters Lisa (Joe) Finnegan and Peggy (Robb) Ekstrum, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, brothers Richard, Steve, and Terry.

Funeral Mass at Holy Family Catholic Church in St. Louis Park on Oct. 3 at 10:30. Rosary/Visitation at 10. Burial on Oct. 15, 9 a.m. at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the Minnesota Veterans home staff for their compassionate and attentive care.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to Grace Hospice. For their kindness, dignity, and gentle care they showed Chuck and our family in his final weeks.
