Cheri Lee Brix

Cheri L. Brix passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026, at Fairview Southdale Hospital. She endured many months of hospital and extended care visits prior to her death. She is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Martha Brix, and her brother Richard John Brix. She is survived by her brother, Tom Brix, uncle Bob Brix, and many cousins and friends.

She was a labor relations attorney for many years at Cargill, Xcel and other companies continuing past her normal retirement. She was also the president of the Hollybrook Homeowners Association and was involved as a volunteer in other legal organizations. She really enjoyed being a downhill ski instructor at Afton Alps for a number of years.

A celebration of life is planned for August 12, 2026, the visitation beginning at 10 AM, a Mass at 11:00 AM, and a lunch to follow at the Church of St. Bartholomew, 630 E. Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata. Interment at Forest Hill Cemetery, Anoka, MN
