Colin Skelly Kurtzweil

Listen to Obituary

Nov 12, 1988 - Dec 16, 2025

Colin is survived by his mother Peggy Skelly, his brother Alex James "AJ"(Stephanie), his partner Lucy Bernard, and many Kurtzweil and Skelly family members. He was preceded in death by his father Howard James Kurtzweil.

Colin grew up and went to school in Maple Grove. He worked for many years at the family business, the 10-50 Club in Corcoran and for the last several years with UPS. Colin was a bright, engaging, artistic and an affectionate man. He had a booming laugh, keen sense of humor and was profoundly introspective; very much an "old soul". Colin was a good cook and relished sitting down to share a meal. He enjoyed puzzles, trivia and excelled at "couch" Wheel of Fortune. He loved playing frisbee golf and was a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers, MN Wild and Timberwolves. Colin had a life long love of music beginning with learning to play the guitar that belonged to his father. He was a gifted composer and posted his music on SoundCloud. Colin collaborated with fellow musicians around the world through the internet and was very proud of his following.

Although his life's journey ended too soon, he touched the lives of many. We love you and miss you Colin.
