Collette Koelfgen

Collette Renee Koelfgen, age 82 of Mpls passed away June 5th, 2016 of Uterine Cancer with her loving husband Lloyd at her side.

She is survived by husband, Lloyd; daughters, Sandra Lane, Mary Roycraft (Mike), Paula Neugent (Mike) and Lisa Faust (Tom); sons, Robert (Amy), Steve (Heidi), Frank (Summer) and Paul (Stacy);  grandchildren, Jacob, Molly, Katie, Michael, Sara, Breanna (Adison), Matthew, Zachary, Rachel, Jared, Nicole, Jenna, Ashley, Mikey, Heather, Amber, Jason;  great grandchildren, Emily, Abby, Brayden, LaRayna, Beckham and Emmett;  siblings, Jean Grabowski, Jayne Moerbitz, Colleen Smith and Jack Armitage; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by grandson, Stevie and 4 siblings.

A brilliant light to all who knew her, she was a loyal & trusted friend that welcomed all into her family.  Always with a song in her heart, Collette was filled with a certain joy that only comes from knowing Jesus.

Born February 7, 1934 to Sophie & Thomas Armitage in South Minneapolis, Collette grew up with 8 brothers & sisters, graduating from St. Anthony High School.  In 1954, she met her husband Lloyd & was married May 21, 1955.  Her life was dedicated to helping all of those around her, as a devoted Mother, a volunteer & then in the service industry where she managed several deli’s in MN.  With an unmatched determination & work ethic, she taught all who were blessed to be near her how things get done.  She enjoyed entertaining, golfing, skating, her lush flower garden & most of all, keeping those close to her in line.

With Collette, God was glorified in all things.
