On February 18, 2020, we lost a mother, a wife, a sister, an aunt, and a friend. Cynthia Lee Lund, 66, of St. Louis Park passed away surrounded by her family.
Cindy was preceded in death by parents Marion & Art Krenz and husband Gary Lund. She is survived by husband Curt Blandin; children Mitch (Ali) Lund, Kelly (Haley) Lund, & Matt (Megan) Blandin; granddaughters Harper and Poppy; siblings Lauri (Ken) Stein, Ed (Sue) Krenz, & Paul (Mandy) Krenz; and many cherished nieces, nephews, & friends. Cindy was the most kind, caring, and lovely person and she quite simply made the world a better place. She was a very beloved woman who meant a lot to many people. One of Cindy’s favorite things was hosting friends and family for dinners and get-togethers; her talents in the kitchen were legendary. Cindy applied her talents with food at the Betty Crocker Kitchens at General Mills for 28 years as an award-winning food stylist behind the food in cookbooks, packaging, and commercials. In retirement she was an avid traveler. She also enjoyed the outdoors by cross-country skiing in the winter, biking and golfing in the summer.
She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.
A private Celebration of Life will be held on October 20, 2021.
