Daniel O'Neill

Survived by wife Kathleen (Kay); daughters Shannon and Sheila O’Neill; step-grandson Robert Britt; nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by twin sisters Pat Pecore and Sr. Mary Daniel O’Neill, OSB and sisters Peg Flatley and Joan Marsh.

He was born in Rhinelander, Wisconsin on 6/15/1932 to Irene Bush and Daniel F. O'Neill.  He was a graduate of the University of St. Thomas, an Emeritus Member of the St. Thomas Alumni Board and recipient of the Msgr. James Lavin Award. Dan was also a graduate of the University of Nebraska with a Master’s degree in Social Work. He served 32 years as a Probation Parole Officer with Hennepin County. Dan was a longtime member of the Aqua Jesters and the Emerald Society.

Memorials preferred to the University of St. Thomas in his name.
