David John Lovik

David Lovik, 63, of Brooklyn Center passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024 peacefully at home in the arms of his loving wife Sue. David was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved spending time at the cabin surrounded by his family.  He enjoyed being in the outdoors kayaking, boating, fishing, and hunting.  Annual camping trips to the North Shore were a highlight and every beautiful sunset was admired along the way.  His greatest joy was always being with his family.

He is survived by wife, Sue; children, Ryan (Tiffany), Sarah (Shaun), Emily (Benjamin) and Daniel (Meghan); grandchildren, Matthew, Annabelle, Emma, Jessica, Gertrude and Ava; mother, Carolyn; brother, Michael.

David was preceded in death by his father, Roger.

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, March 27, at St. Hedwig Catholic Church, 129 29th Ave NE, Minneapolis, at 1 pm with a visitation one hour prior.

Private family internment following the service will take place at Gethsemane Cemetery.
