Donald Albrecht

Donald H. Albrecht, Age 91 of Medina, passed away on November 23, 2025. Graduate of Ascension Grade School ('48), De La Salle High School ('52), and The University of Minnesota ('59) Don led a full and active life. He was a US Army Veteran ('54-'56) serving in Army Intelligence. Don had a 31-year career with Honeywell and was the Manager of the Contracts Department in the Military Avionics Division at the time of his retirement. Preceded in death by his parents Hubert Albrecht and Pauline Benson, sister Mary Lou Higgins, and his dear wife of 64 years, Joann M. Albrecht. Survived by 5 children John, Michael (Susan), Paula (Bill) Dupay, Diane (Tim) Brown & Dan (Jodie); 11 grandchildren Amanda (Ryan) Verkman, Rachel (Kyle) Westphal, Katie (Jeremiah) Markgraf, Michael Ryan, Andrew (Lindsey) Brown, Samuel, Benjamin (Christina), Dana (Jerrod) Doyle, Sara, Anna & Will; 7 great grandchildren Hadley and Blakely Brown, Wyatt Westphal, Bo, Mia and Raya Verkman & Margot Albrecht; many nieces and nephews.

A visitation starting at 10 AM followed by service at 11 AM will be held on Wednesday, December 3rd at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Avenue North.
