Donna, age 87 of Plymouth, formerly of Minnetonka, passed away surrounded by family on May 16, 2022.

Donna was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio and was the oldest of Edward and Dorothy Zaleski’s 5 children. After graduating she became a secretary at General Mills in Toledo where she met Marv who was working as a Civil Engineer. They married and subsequently moved to Toronto, then California and eventually to Minnetonka where they raised their 4 children.

Donna was the ultimate sports mom, cheering on her 3 boys in baseball and hockey and never missing her daughter’s dance line performances. She continued to be in the stands for all of her grandchildren’s many games and performances, sometimes driving through snowstorms and thunderstorms to attend. She worked part time for many years in retail focusing on women’s clothing and also was the lunchtime hostess at T Wright’s for many years. Her love of clothing, jewelry, shopping and dressing to the nines was part of her flair.  She would say she got dressed with accessories everyday so if someone invited her to do something she would be ready to go.

Donna is preceded in death by Marvin, her husband of 62 years, her parents Edward and Dorothy, siblings David, Ann and Greg.

She is survived by children, Mark, Cynthia (Gregg) Dyste, Roger (Ingrid) Krafve, and Eric; grandchildren, Brett (Leslie) Dyste, Anastasia (Josh) Haroldson, Emily (Ryan) Jaeger, Alexandra (Krosby) Kludt, Ella Krafve, Carter Krafve and Owen Krafve, sister Linda Zink and 7 great grandchildren along with other loving family members and friends.

Celebration of Donna’s life will be held at 11 am on June 13, 2022 at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Ave. N. at Vicksburg Lane. Visitation 1 hour prior. Private interment at Groveland Cemetery, Minnetonka.
