Dorothy Zidwick

Dorothy Elizabeth Zidwick (Everist) passed away peacefully on Sunday August 31, 2025 at age 97. She was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and lived for many years in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. She spent the last years of her life near family in Minnesota. She was foremost a mother and loved her children, grandchildren, and her new great grandchild. For many years she volunteered with an organization in the Detroit area that helped seniors. Her faith was very important to her. She always loved art and music and had a wonderful voice. In her later years she did many beautiful paintings and especially enjoyed doing pictures of animals. She is survived by her daughters Mary Jo Zidwick (Jerry Arneson), Christiana Zidwick (Joseph Sweeney) and Karen Zidwick and grandchildren, Stephanie (Tino), Kari (Martin), Finn, Gabri, Jordan and great grandchild Isabelle. She was preceded in death by her husband Francis (Bud), her parents Stephen and Josephine, and her brothers Stephen, Raymond and Willmer. There will be a private funeral Mass. A service and burial will be held at a later date in Baltimore, Maryland.
