E. Elaine Delmege

E. Elaine Delmege, formerly of N. Minneapolis passed away January 22, 2018 at age 84.  Elaine was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa.

Preceded in death by her husband, William; parents, Harry and Leota; brothers, Alfred, Harry and Phillip Thacker; sisters, Jo Ann Thacker and Barbara Bruntmyer.  She will be deeply missed by daughter, Julie (Randy) Berthiaume; son, Alan; grandchildren, Katelyn (Tim) Lee, Ashley (Ryan) Barron and Travis Woodhull; great-grandsons, Mason and Emmit; sisters, Sharon Shoemaker of Des Moines, Iowa; Phyllis Shearer of Montezuma, Iowa; Carol Holt of Brooklyn Center; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Elaine was a hard worker with an incredible work ethic and she cared and worried about everyone else before herself.  Most importantly she’ll be remembered for being a loving, caring, wonderful wife, mother and grandma.  She was dearly loved and we will miss you more than words can say.

Visitation 1 hour prior to service on Saturday. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery in New Hope. Memorials preferred to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota.
