Elaine Mae (Ledstrom) Erickson

Elaine Mae (Ledstrom) Erickson, of Crystal, formerly of Golden Valley passed away peacefully February 12, 2022 at age 92.  She was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband, George Erickson; mother, Laura Martin; father, Gunnar Ledstrom; daughter-in-law, Mary Erickson; and granddaughter, Kristin Mary Erickson. Elaine is survived by her children, Sandy Nieman, Ed Erickson (Carrie), Judy Erickson (Rob Dowden); grandkids, Adam Nieman, Andy Nieman, Brent Nieman, Ericka Larson (Rory), Matt Erickson (Jade), Steve Erickson (Anju Raghavendra), Julie Harrington (John), Niko Tsatsos (Jess), and Dena Dyrud (Phil); 15 great-grandkids; sister, Mary Ann McKay; sisters-in-law, Karen Jackson (Gary) and Lois Gjerald (Ole), and Judy Erickson; many nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends.

Elaine spent many years in the food industry, including time at Swanson and Associates and Pillsbury Company. She was a proud Past President of Golden Valley Fire Dept. Auxiliary. Elaine loved to sing and was a member of Showtime Chorus. She enjoyed playing cards, traveling, reading, and especially time at the lake with family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at Calvary Lutheran Church of Golden Valley where Elaine was an active life-time member at 11:00 am Thursday, February 17 with visitation 1 hour prior to service; masks are required. Interment Summit Park Cemetery in Wayzata. Memorials may be directed to Calvary Lutheran Church or North Memorial Hospice.
