Elaine Helen (Arens) Roy

Elaine Helen Roy (Arens), age 94 of Crystal, MN (formerly of Hamel, MN and Auburndale, FL), passed away on February 11, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Della Arens; her loving husband of 67 years, Rayburn Roy; brother, Erwin (Louise) Arens, and sister, Doris (Eugene) Baer.

Elaine is survived by brothers, Gerry (Isabella) Arens, Tom (Judy) Arens; children, Craig (Laurel) Roy and Cheri (John) Thompson; grandchildren, Ross Thompson, Kelsey Roy, Lauren (Ryan) Dorholt, Hayley (Michael) Motschenbacher, and Zachary Roy; great grandchildren, Logan and Rae Dorholt; and many other relatives and friends.

Mom enjoyed being with people and loved listening to a funny joke or story. She loved dancing and golfing with Dad, playing cards and bingo, watching Twins games and attending hundreds of sporting events that her kids and grandkids were playing in. She'll always be in our hearts and will be greatly missed by all.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at The Church of St. Anne, 200 Hamel Rd., Hamel, MN. Interment in the church cemetery.
