Elizabeth Pierce

Elizabeth J "Betty" Pierce, age 89 of Brooklyn Park passed away 5/21/25. Beloved wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma. Preceded in death by husband of 58 years, Jack. Survived by children, Tom, Beth and Amy (Tim) Holtan; grandchildren, Jessica (John), Rachel (Brian), Daniel, Samantha, Sarah, Maria, Chloe (Tyler) and Nick (Nicole); 11 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Betty was a 1957 graduate of UMD, was a schoolteacher, interior design specialist and for 20 years a Home Economist for Byerly's stores. She enjoyed traveling, community and church involvement, and watching sports, especially the MN Twins. More than anything she cherished being with her children and grandchildren.  Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, June 11, 11 AM with visitation starting at 10 AM at the Church of St. Alphonsus, 7025 Halifax Ave. No., Brooklyn Center. Private interment Ft. Snelling.
