Florentine M. Sikich (nee Sutkus) 100, quietly passed away at home in Maple Grove, MN on January 11, 2026. She was born in Waukegan, IL on February 19, 1925 to Anthony J. and Anne A. (Zupkus) Sutkus. She attended St. Bartholomew Grade School and Waukegan Township High School and worked at Abbott Laboratories. Florentine met John Sikich and they married in 1957. Florentine was a devoted wife and mother raising two daughters.
Florentine is survived by her daughter Carol (Joe) Glusic and Ann (Glen) Carwell. She was preceded in death by her husband John, her parents, two brothers Leo and Albert and her sister Lucille.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on January 22, 2026 at 11am at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 630 Wayzata, Blvd, Wayzata, MN 55391.
Visitation and Committal Prayer will be at Ascension Cemetery, 1920 Buckley Road, Libertyville, IL 60048 on February 07, 2026 at 10 am.
