Smida, George R.

Age 85 of Brooklyn Park.  Survived by wife  Pat; sons Chuck Smida (Mary Lee Bertram), Rick Smida and daughter Lynn Smida Otto (Stephen); grandchildren Amy, Andrea, April,  Alissa, Kathryn, Karisa, Kyle, Nathan, Vanessa & Andrew; 19 great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by his parents George and Louscinda Wosmek Smida. George was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and a 40 yr. employee of Honeywell.   He was a member of the K of C council #3656 and the Westphal  Post 251.  For over 15 years, George was a fundraiser, volunteer and rider in the MS 150/Tram Bike Marathons.

In celebration of George’s life, please wear bright colors and purple, the color of Alzheimer’s awareness.
