George Yanagita

George Yanagita, a longtime St. Louis Park resident passed away February 22, 2016 at age 92.  He will be dearly missed by his children, Glen (Maria Reinitz), Gary (Mary Tomes), Cynthia (Thom) Gerst and grandchildren, Bryan and David Yanagita; sister, Rose Asao; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

After a long career with NSP, George enjoyed more than 30 years of retirement.  He devoted time to his family, friends, the art of calligraphy and other artistic pursuits.  In later years he enjoyed connecting with friends in the Minnesota Nikkei Project.
