Beukelman, James A.

age 62 of Maple Grove, passed away on 02/13/2026. James Allen Beukelman was born on October 5, 1963 to Eldon and Irma (Ver Steeg) Beukelman. Jim grew up in Corsica, SD and graduated from Corsica High School in 1981. He earned his accounting degree from the University of South Dakota, became a CPA, and moved to the Twin Cities in 1985, where he was employed as an auditor with a national public accounting firm. Over his career, Jim served in various accounting and finance positions with private companies and led strategic integration and growth of more than one hundred acquisitions. He became a financial leader in distribution and retail-focused businesses, most recently as CFO of KSI Collision Parts.

Jim’s faith was the foundation on which he lived his life. He cared about, and invested in time with, others. He coached youth baseball and basketball teams, taught Sunday School and confirmation classes, and mentored youth. He loved hiking, time in nature, travel, and quality baked goods, all the better with family and friends. Jim loved life and loved to laugh. Jim was a member of, and served on committees within, Cross Winds United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lorna; children, Jayme (Gabriel) Aguero of Wauwatosa, WI and Andrew (fiancée Elizabeth Reschenberg) of St. Louis, MO; his mother, Irma; siblings Scott (Marcia) of Marshall, MN, Stephen of Sioux Falls, SD, Sandi (Greg) Peterson of Waconia, MN, Sheryl (Scott) Muckey of Corsica, SD and Jerry (Wendy) of Thornton, CO; sisters-in-law Marlys (Lyn) Thompson of West Fargo, ND and Linda Berkeland of Huron, SD; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Eldon.

Visitation 5-8 PM Friday (02/27) at Gearty-Delmore Chapel, 15800 37th Ave. N., Plymouth, MN 55446. Memory Sharing to begin at 7 PM. Funeral Service 10:30 AM Saturday (02/28) at Cross Winds United Methodist Church, 15051 Weaver Lake Rd., Maple Grove, MN 55311. Visitation 1 ½ hrs prior at church. Interment Graceland Cemetery, Madison, SD.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family, which will be donated to pancreatic cancer research efforts.
