Survived by sons Andrew (Mary) and Paul (Pam) DeMorett; grandchildren Kelly Munoz, Joshua, Benjamin, Abby, Mason, Lydia, Jared, and Emily; great grandchild Zoey Munoz; sister Shirley Ribot; brother Jerome DeMorett; special friend Patty McDonald; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Preceded in death by sister Maureen Buth; and brother John Jr. "Jack" DeMorett.
Jim was a teacher in the Robbinsdale School District for 30 years and a long-time member of the Knights of Columbus. Jim loved to golf, was an avid card player, loved attending and supporting his grandchildren in their activities and officiated in swimming for 35 years.
Entombment at Gethsemane Cemetery, New Hope.
