Jim retired from the Maintenance Division of the Minneapolis Public Schools. He was a member of the Charles Knaeble VFW Post #494 and Westphal American Legion Post #251.
Preceded in death by his wives, Nancy Dunfee and Eleanor Longen; daughters, Ruth Kunze and Teri Litchy; sister, Kathy Johnson; stepdaughter, Pamela Aronson.
Survived by son, Scott Dunfee; stepdaughter, Susan (Mark) Hill; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Gini Therres, Peggy (Dave) Bach, Betty Stockton and Mary (Vern) Norton; brother, Perry (Betty) Dunfee; nieces, nephews and relatives.
