Age 87 of Minnetonka, passed away on September 23, 2026. 

Preceded in death by parents, George & Amelia Fieger; wife, June Martha (Talus); son, David Jerome. Survived by daughter, Janet Marie; granddaughter, Emmie (Jake) Harvey; partner, Karen Kaye Johnson. 

A 1961 graduate of the University of Minnesota, School of Business Administration, Jim formed an advertising/marketing/communications agency, Nemer Fieger, in 1973. Jim fervently loved singing and entertaining and fostered a deep faith that led him to author a book about guardian angels meant to inspire others. He had a big heart and found joy in helping those in need. 

In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Saint Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, New City Covenant Church, or Union Gospel Mission. 

To celebrate Jim’s life, we will gather for a Celebration of Life on Friday, October 16th at Union Congregational Church, 3700 Alabama Ave. S., Saint Louis Park. Visitation: 12 p.m., Service: 1 p.m.
