James "Jim" Leonard
age 88 of Brooklyn Park.
Survived by best friend and wife of 65 years, Geraldine “Gerry”; children, Nancy Wasik (Paul), Scott Leonard (Karen), Janice Sementa (Enzo) and Timothy Leonard (Jana); grandchildren, Andrew, Nicole (Anthony), Matthew (Christine), Quinn and  Simon;  great grandchildren, Vanessa, Kyan and Madison; sister, Susan Mercier (Robert); other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by brothers, Dennis, Thomas and John.
Jim graduated North High in ’46 and served in the US Marines. He was a member of the Crystal VFW and the Crystal Knight of Columbus. He retired from the US Postal Service and was a former owner of Leon’s Supper Club.
Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Friday at the Church of St. Gerard, 9600 Regent Ave. N. with visitation 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Interment St. Vincent Cemetery, Osseo. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Gerard’s Catholic Church.
