James R. McLaughlin, Jr.

James R. McLaughlin, Jr. of Crystal, MN, born September 5, 1960, passed away on October 6, 2026, at age 66. He was born to parents James R. McLaughlin, Sr., and Beverly (Leuthner) McLaughlin. His parents, and sister Louise McLaughlin, preceded him in death.

James is survived by wife Joan McLaughlin, sisters Vicki (Paul) Roberts and Anita McLaughlin, also nieces, Rachel (Jon) Naumchik, Allison (Kelsey) Robling, Bevie Roberts, and Rose Faraci. Also survived by grand nieces and nephews Lexi, Phoebe, and Lukas Naumchik, along with Charlie and Sullivan Robling.

James was a co-owner at McLaughlin Tax Service for more than 50 years assisting taxpayers in the community. In his spare time he was an avid hunter and loved going on fishing trips with his wife, Joan.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday, October 13th, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Gearty-Delmore Chapel, 3888 West Broadway Avenue, Robbinsdale, MN 55422. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Heart Association.
