With sadness and love we remember Janet Gayle Gass, age 83 of Plymouth MN, who passed away on Jan. 17, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Esther Gass, sister Robbie Straight and brothers-in-law Duane Straight and Gerald Ebensteiner. Janet will be forever missed by siblings, Judy Ebensteiner and Craig Gass (Jean); Nieces and Nephew-Michele Morris (Curt), Sandra Johnson (Darrick), Lisa Straight (Ben Allen), Mark Straight (Michelle), Kelly Black (Kevin), Melissa Gottschalk (Craig), Samantha McLane (Josh) along with many great nieces, great nephews and friends!

In 1961, Janet graduated from North High School and went to work at Napco Industries. She was promoted many times during her forty-nine year career there. During her growing-up years and later, she also worked and helped manage the family food concession business. She was many things to many people, a dedicated employee, a loving sister, a friend, a loving aunt and daughter…”My Family is My Greatest Treasure” told by Janet recently.

We will miss Janet greatly. Her family was lucky to have her in their lives and to spend many years with her. She is young again, in heaven, with many of her family and friends. A funeral service to celebrate Janet’s life will be held at Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapel, 15800 37th Avenue North, Plymouth Minnesota, January 26, 2026. Visitation 11am. Funeral 12 noon with a lunch served immediately after the service. Afterwards family and friends are welcome to join for the interment at Lakewood Cemetery, 3600 Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis.
