Jean received a call on March 27 that she could not refuse - a chance to join Milo, family, and friends in Heaven. Her extraordinary work on earth has come to an end.
Jean was a farm girl who taught first grade for 10 years. She married Milo in 1958 arid they welcomed Dan, Pam (Kevin Chandler) and Steve into their home. Later, with great love, they welcomed grandchildren Caroline (Dan) and Jack (Chloe) Bednar; Kate (Anthony) Caron and great-grandson Odin; and Tommy, Tallon, and Caroline Chandler.
Jean was active at Oak Knoll Lutheran church for 67 years. The most rewarding activity was as a member of the building committee and leader of the décor committee.
Jean was a reader, gardener, and enjoyed sewing. Her sewing machine had been constantly buzzing until very recently. She enjoyed sewing American Girl doll clothes, masks, and Lutheran World Relief quilts.
A memorial service celebrating Jean's amazing 98 years will be held at Oak Knoll Lutheran Church.
Funeral Details will be updated once arranged.
Memorials may be directed to Oak Knoll Lutheran Church.
