Jean Wiggins

L. (Jean) Wiggins, 90, of Plymouth, Minnesota, formerly of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026.

Jean was a proud graduate of Asbury College in Kentucky and earned her master's degree from the University of Georgia. She devoted her career to teaching English to university students throughout the South and was also an accomplished, published poet.

In retirement, Jean and her husband, Richard ("Gene"), traveled widely, cherishing their time abroad-especially their journeys to Italy.

She is survived by her nieces, Sharon Shelton (Richard Johnson) and Cathy Kennerly.

Interment will take place at Cherry Lake Methodist Church in Florida at a later date.
