Kranz, Jerome "Rommie"

Age 91 of Crystal got his Heavenly wings on June 11, 2019 after a long battle with cancer.  Rommie grew up on the family farm in Plymouth.  He married Joyce in 1952 and moved the family to Crystal.  He worked as a warehouseman with Red Owl for 33 years.  Rommie was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, GG-pa and friend.

Rommie is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Joyce; daughter, Diane (Pat) Goffin; son, Jim (Denice) Kranz; grandchildren, Melanie (Eric) Horner, Katie (Travis) Swenson, Chad (Felicia) Goffin, Keli (Shane) Schilling; great-grandchildren, Brittany, Devin and Easton, Kayler, Jace and Ashlyn, Jacob and Laci, Addie; sister, Evie Bauermeister; brothers-in-law, John Hotal and Skip Nelson; many nieces, nephews and friends whom he met on his daily walks over the years.

Preceded in death by sisters, Marie (Virgil) Morin, Marnie (Joe) Bettinger; brother, Bill (Louise) Kranz; brothers-in-law, Bob (Helen) Hotal and Howie Bauermeister; sister-in-law, Marilyn Nelson.

May he rest in the peace of God’s love.
