Mass of Christian Burial for Jesús Lange and María Hagberg

Lange, Jesús Aleja

age 88 of Maple Grove. Survived by children, Carol (Jeff) Horman, Mark (Amber) Lange, Diana (Tom) Daniels; grandchildren, Emily & Taylor Horman, Evan & Mason Lange, Katie, Mark & Matthew Daniels; sister, Mona Marquette; many nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by infant son, John; husband of 50 years, Leroy; and sister, María Hagberg. Jesús studied nursing in Perú, but worked as secretary for the Peruvian president’s daughter, then owned her own drapery business in the U.S. She met Leroy when he was in the Peace Corps and assigned to redesign the park where she worked.  They married in Perú and moved back to Minnesota. Jesús was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, talented seamstress and crafter. She loved her flavored Rice Krispie bars and always had a purse-full to share. Thank you to the care team at Beehive Homes in Maple Grove for taking such great care of her the past two years. Sadly, Jesús and her sister María. passed within weeks of one another. We will be celebrating both with a Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM, Wed., May 31 at the Church of St. Mary of the Lake, 105 N. Forestview Ln, Plymouth. Visitation 1 hr. before Mass at church.
