Hogan, Joan T.

Age 101 of Brooklyn Park. Born October 2, 1924, in Mitchell, South Dakota, died November 9, 2025.

Preceded in death by husband Ralph, and parents Josephine and Martin Walsh; siblings Bernice (Floyd) Johnson, Martin (Fran), Father Daniel, Kenneth, Josephine (Robert) Higgins; brother-in-law James Hogan.

Survived by children, Pat and wife, Linda of Andover, Marie Enck of Colorado Springs, CO, Tom and wife, Jane of Chanhassen, Frank and wife, Jodi of Isanti; 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Carol Walsh of Joliet, Il and Lucille Hogan of Ely and many nieces and nephews.

Joan was a Holy Angels Academy graduate class of 1943. She worked at Glenwood Hills Hospital/Golden Valley Health Center, Reliastar/Northwestern National Life Insurance where she retired in 1988.

Joan was a long-time member of St. Margaret Mary's Church and resident of Robbinsdale. Later she was a long-time resident of St. Therese New Hope apartments before moving to Saint Therese Oxbow Lake. She was President of the Resident Council and volunteered for many other duties/activities.

Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at The Church of St. Margaret Mary, 2323 Zenith Ave N., Golden Valley with visitation at church one hour prior. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery, New Hope. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Saint Therese Senior Communities.
