Joanne Dougall Jones

Joanne Dougall Jones, age 91 of Edina.

Joanne is survived by her loving family, daughter Barbara (Daniel) Bloedow; grandchildren Andrew (Dhurata) Bloedow, Anne (Kurt) Stafford, and Jessica (Austin) Wood; great grandchildren William, Carmen, Grace, Ava, MacAdam, Julian, Daniel and Bauer; ten nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by son Charles Jones, parents Peter Dougall Sr. and Gertrude Kienzle Dougall and brothers Peter Dougall Jr. and Mark Dougall.

Joanne was a graduate of Washburn High School and the University of Minnesota. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Grace Church and the Edina Country Club. Joanne embraced her role as a mother and homemaker and delighted in becoming a grandmother and great grandmother. She was a generous community volunteer, a loyal friend and a kind neighbor. She enjoyed wintering in Carefree, Arizona where she was a member of Our Lady of Joy Church.
