Preceded in death by Charles Hicks; and son, John Hicks. Survived by husband, Alan; daughter, Lori Zastrow; son, Richard Hicks (Kelly); grandchildren, Shaun (Tarin), Amanda (Adam), Danielle, Zach, Erica, Jamie (Bryan) and Chris (Jenn); great grandchildren, Benjamin, Ealiyn, Asher, LaRay, Larry, Jay, Jason, Jaxon and Ava; brother, Gerald (Kyong); other relatives and many friends. Joanne loved her family and was known as "Grandma Honey". She had great pride in her home and the gardens surrounding it. Memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society.
