John "Skip" Amonson

Amonson, John H (Skip).

age, 77 of Saint Louis Park, MN passed away on May 23rd, 2024. 

He is survived by his children, Lisa Amonson Marks (Tony) and son Jon Mafdet Amonson; granddaughter, Kaitlin Marks; sisters-in-law, Katherine Christianson and Mary Doyle, as well as beloved nephews.

 He is proceeded in death by his beloved wife and best friend Jeanne Louise Siemers Amonson; parents, Homer and Marion Amonson; brother, Dennis Amonson.

 His passions in life were many, including hunting and the outdoors in northern Minnesota with his dear friend Curt Nesse. Skip was a lifelong Electrician with local power companies including NSP and Xcel energy. His love for family was uncompromising and the most important thing in his life. He will be missed by all who were graced to meet him. We were all blessed to know Skip. He attended high school in Duluth and Graduated from St. Louis Park high School. From Kaitlin, I love you Grandpa.

 Funeral Mass Friday, May 31st at St. Mary of the Lake Church, 105 North Forestview Ln, Plymouth MN. Mass at 11:30 am with Visitation beginning at 10:30 am.
