Age 64, of Minneapolis, passed away on July 30, 2026.
He is survived by his children, JP Hnastchenko, Sam (Lindsey) Hnastchenko, and Ali (Scott) Welch; grandchildren, Clayton Welch and Cody Hnastchenko; siblings, Mike (Sue) Hnastchenko, Lisa (Mark) Baltes, Lori (Pat) McTigue; former spouse, Kris Hnastchenko; numerous nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Mary Kay and John Phillip Hnastchenko.
Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Wednesday, August 5th, at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 155 County Road 24, Medina 55391. Visitation one hour prior to the Funeral Mass at church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Evans Scholars Foundation, a full tuition and housing college grant for high-achieving youth caddies, in memory of John Hnastchenko.
