John "Jack" Francis Dhamer

John "Jack" Francis Dhamer, age 58, of Minnetonka, passed away peacefully in his home on July 4th, 2022 after a short battle with Melanoma. Visitation Wednesday July 13th, from 5 – 8 PM at the Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapels, 15800 37th Ave North, Plymouth. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Thursday July 14th, at St. Therese Catholic Church of Deephaven, 18323 Minnetonka Blvd, Wayzata.

Jack was born February 12, 1964, to Bob and Margaret Dhamer in Lake Forest, IL. He attended Drake University and studied Economics. In 1991 he married the mother of his children, Maria Saulsbury in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico. Jack had two sons, John and Tommy; they were the love of his life. Family was everything to Jack. He spent years volunteering for BSA Troop 345, mentoring several boys to the rank of Eagle Scout. Jack was happiest near water – sailing with his lifelong friend Martin, waterskiing with his children, or enjoying the beach in Mexico. During the winters Jack loved to go to skiing in the mountains with his family.

Jack is survived by sons, John and Tommy Dhamer, former wife Maria Saulsbury, siblings, Robert (Pam) Dhamer, Therese (Dick) Wetherald, Dennis (Marilyn) Dhamer, Mary (Bill) Wiegand, Peter (Dottie) Dhamer, Michelle (Bill) Porter, Joe (Leslie) Dhamer and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Jack is preceded in death parents, numerous aunts and uncles and nephew.
