Jon "Ryan" Benson

Age 40, of Plymouth passed away Friday June 1, 2018. He was born October 25, 1977 and graduated from Wayzata High School in 1997 and went on to attend Augsburg College for Business Management. He started and ran a successful general contracting firm with nothing more than a truck, ladder, and his wealth of knowledge on how to fix anything. His upbeat nature and sense of humor attracted a host of friends whom he loved dearly. Ryan was an avid Minnesota Twins fan and enjoyed traveling to see them play in stadiums across the country. Ryan fiercely loved his family and was an energetic and playful father to his children. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his children Ryan Jr (15) and Olivia (9) and their mom Anne Benson; Parents Jon Benson, Shar Benson (David Halper); Brothers Barrett Benson and Jack Benson, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends.

A memorial fund has been established for the benefit of Ryan and Olivia.

A private service will be held the following day.
