Joe was a Philadelphia native, a proud veteran of the US Navy and a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. He enjoyed a career of many years with Control Data. In life, he was fond of golfing, boating, traveling to warm winter places and a quiet happy hour appreciating a martini.
He was preceded in death by his brother Leo, and his infant daughter Mary.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cathy; his children, Joe Jr. (Karen) and Mary Louise; grandchildren, Tyler (Jess), Alec, Blanca; great grandson Carson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Joe’s name are preferred to the charity of donor’s choice.
